Pharmacotherapy Area Based Network

The Hume Area Pharmacotherapy Network provide support for medical practitioners, pharmacists and drug and alcohol workers in all aspects of opioid management including assisting in improving treatment options for their opioid dependent patients. We also support practices in education and training, safer prescribing and developing risk management policies and procedures for early identification and prevention of problematic opioid use.

Our Project ECHO education and support program, the Victorian Opioid Management ECHO, is a first for Victoria and provides weekly, no-cost access to an innovative, guided practice program in clinical opioid management, led by our Addiction specialist partners in an ‘All-teach, All-learn’ environment.
