Needle Syringe Program (NSP)

Primary Care Connect's Needle Syringe Program (NSP), is a confidential, welcoming, and non-judgemental service available to the whole community.

Our qualified team provide education on safe injecting procedures and blood born virus prevention, can provide safe and hygienic syringes free of charge including for diabetes management, and can provide safe disposal containers for disposal of used sharps.
We are pleased to announce the program now also performs Hepatitis C testing, offering support, education and information for anyone who tests positive. If you test positive, we will refer you to a specialist clinic for treatment.
Our aim is to provide harm minimisation making it safer for clients and the wider community. This program also acts as a bridge to connecting clients in with other services.
We offer FREE sterile equipment used for injecting, and other supplies including:
