Information for those impacted by the Victorian January bushfires

Primary Care Connect is working closely with partner agencies to support community members who may be experiencing distress following current bushfire activity across our region.
We know that bushfires can have a significant emotional impact, whether you have been directly affected, are supporting others, or are feeling unsettled by what is happening around you. This can be an understandably difficult and stressful time, and support is available.

How we can help

Primary Care Connects Emergency Recovery Team is working collaboratively with other support services to provide help to individuals and families who have been impacted by recent bushfires. 
PCC's Emergency Response Team can help navigate and link in with things such as:

  • finding local services near you
  • insurance and legal questions
  • exploring financial hardship options
  • your health and wellbeing
  • registering for government services

How to access support from our Emergency Recovery Team:
The Emergency Recovery Hotline on 1800 560 760 from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. Press 9 for an interpreter or call Translating and Interpretation Service (TIS) on 131 450.
